As some of you may know I have made a commitment to rebuilding my body again. The primary reason for this is the fact that we have officially registered for the Olympic distance triathlon coming up, and its the first race of this distance and duration for me in a long time (last years triathlon and the half marathon this year were only beginnings). I feel very good about it. Part of this commitment also comes from the fact that I need to get fit for my wedding, so this is an added bonus in terms of time-frame.For the past three weeks I have been running very avidly every evening with a pure focus on endurance and fat burning exercises. I have been able to drop from 101+ Kilos to 96.5 at the moment, reducing fat, but not loosing too much muscle mass. The goal is to burn fat and rebuild muscle to weigh in at roughly 95kg or less by October.

I have also been eating healthier together with Renata, avoiding meats and certain fats.

Without going into too much detail for this post, as its nearly midnight and I need to get a few chapters in before dozing off, I want to explain the quick background to what I call the KLG #CONQUER10K challenge. Recently you might have seen some of those viral videos of celebrities and others doing the ice bucket challenge to support the ALS association. While doing my trail run, it hit me. Why not call out others to just #run? Go conquer the track, the trail, the path, the streets of your city and get others to join in?

We are working on the campaign site, however I have begun by initiating the conquer call. I have challenged Filip Dabovic, Tim Steinmeyer, Chris Kratochwill, Paul Stamatiou and Oscar Pacheco to run 10k. Will they accept it?

The Rules

1. Run 10K.

2. Upon completion, record a short video and post it online challenging the next five people to conquer themselves and run 10k

Here a layout (my post):

“My name is X, and I live in City, Country. I just completed my conquer10k challenge by X and now I challenge the following five people to do the same: Name 1-5. You have 48 hours to accept and complete this challenge. Conquer. Lets go!”

3. Share on social media and our upcoming site!
