We create the content on this site with care, but we can’t guarantee it’s always complete, accurate, or current, and we may change or remove it at any time. The content is for general information only and is not professional advice. We’re responsible for our own content. We’re not obliged to monitor third-party content, in line with Articles 13 to 17 of the LSSI.

Applicable law and disputes
This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law and applicable EU law. Disputes fall to the courts of Valencia, Spain, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules give a consumer the right to bring proceedings in their own country of residence.
We are not currently adhered to any consumer arbitration board or alternative dispute resolution scheme, which does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. (The EU’s central Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in July 2025, so no link to it is provided.)

Cookies
Cooookies
Some are good, some taste strange.
Last updated: 12 June 2026
This Cookie Policy is part of the Legal Notice and Privacy Policy of hermannk.com, operated by KLG (King Lion Group). It explains what cookies are, which ones this site uses, and how you can control them. It complies with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser or device when you visit. Cookies let a site remember things about your visit, such as your preferences or whether you’re logged in, and help the site work properly. Similar technologies (like pixels or local storage) can do comparable things, and where this policy says “cookies” it covers those too.
Your consent
When you first visit the site, you’re shown a cookie banner. Cookies that aren’t strictly necessary are only used if you agree to them. You can accept all, reject non-essential ones, or choose by category. Browsing the site does not by itself count as consent.
You can change your mind at any time. Use the “Cookie settings” link on the site to reopen the banner and update or withdraw your consent. Strictly necessary cookies don’t require consent, because the site can’t function without them.
The types of cookies we use
We keep this deliberately light. In practice the site uses:
Strictly necessary cookies. Needed for the site to work — for example, to keep it secure, remember items during checkout, or keep you logged in if you have an account. As a WordPress site, some of these are set automatically (such as session and login cookies, and a cookie that remembers your name if you leave a blog comment). These are exempt from consent under the LSSI because they deliver a service you’ve requested.
Preference cookies. Remember choices you make, such as settings that personalise your experience. Used only where relevant.
Analytics cookies. We use Burst Statistics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that runs on our own domain (first-party) and is configured to be as privacy-respecting as possible, operating without tracking cookies where it can. It gives us aggregate, anonymised information — which pages are popular, roughly how visitors arrive — and is not used to build advertising profiles about you.
What we don’t use: we do not run behavioural advertising cookies, ad-network trackers, or cross-site profiling on this site.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties rather than by us:
- Purchases. When you buy a product, checkout happens on a third-party platform (such as Gumroad), which sets its own cookies under its own policy once you’re on its pages.
- Embedded content. If a page includes embedded content (for example, a video or a map), that provider may set cookies. Where this involves non-essential cookies, it’s covered by your consent choices.
Because the exact set of cookies can change as tools are updated, the current, detailed list — names, providers, and durations — is shown and kept up to date in the cookie banner itself.
How to manage cookies in your browser
Beyond our banner, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings:
- Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome (search “cookies”)
- Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org (search “cookies”)
- Apple Safari: support.apple.com (search “manage cookies”)
- Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com (search “cookies”)
- Opera: help.opera.com
For general guidance you can also visit allaboutcookies.org. Note that if you block or delete cookies, some parts of the site may not work as expected.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may also be reflected in an updated cookie banner.

Privacy
Privacy Policy
My firm commitment to the privacy of visitors to this site.
Last updated: 12 June 2026
Your privacy matters to me, and this site runs on trust, so here is exactly how your information is handled — in plain language, no legal fog.
A few principles I stick to:
- I don’t ask for personal information unless I genuinely need it.
- I don’t sell your data. Ever.
- I don’t share it except with the service providers needed to run the site, or where the law requires it.
- You stay in control. You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time.
Who I am (the data controller)
This site, hermannk.com, is my personal website, operated by KLG (King Lion Group), a company based in Valencia, Spain. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law, KLG is the “data controller” for the information collected here. Full company identification is set out in our Legal Notice.
Anything privacy-related — questions, requests, corrections: hello@klg.me
This policy also covers data collected across my connected properties, such as my Gumroad shop, where these same principles apply.
What I collect
Information you give me directly:
- Newsletter: your email address, and your name if you choose to give it, when you subscribe.
- Contact form: your name, email, and whatever you write to me.
- Purchases: when you buy a product, your order and billing details, processed through my shop provider (Gumroad). I do not see or store your full payment-card details. The payment processor handles those.
- Accounts (planned): if and when logins are added, your account details and preferences.
Information collected automatically:
- Basic analytics through the Burst Analytics plugin, which runs first-party and is built to be privacy-friendly (it can operate without tracking cookies). This shows me things like which pages are popular and roughly where visitors come from, in aggregate. It is not used to build advertising profiles about you.
- Essential technical data your browser sends, such as IP address and device and browser type, needed to serve the site securely.
I do not run a mobile app, send push notifications, or operate advertising-tracking networks on this site.
Why I use it, and my legal basis
Under GDPR I need a lawful reason to process your data. Here is the mapping:
- To send the newsletter — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
- To answer your messages — my legitimate interest in responding to you.
- To process and deliver purchases — to fulfil our contract when you buy something.
- To keep tax and transaction records — my legal obligation under Spanish law.
- To run and secure the site and understand basic usage — my legitimate interest in operating the site well.
Cookies and tracking
I keep this light. The site uses essential cookies needed to function, and privacy-friendly analytics that, where possible, run without tracking cookies. Any non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which you can manage or withdraw through the site’s cookie controls. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings, though some features may stop working if you do.
Who I share it with
I don’t sell your data. I share it only with:
- Service providers who help run the site — hosting, the email and newsletter platform, the payment processor (Gumroad), and analytics — and only what they need to do their job.
- My own connected properties, such as my Gumroad shop, under this same policy.
- Authorities, if the law genuinely requires it, or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor, if the business is ever sold, merged, or restructured.
Sending data outside the EU
Some of my providers (for example, the payment or email platforms) may be based outside the European Economic Area, such as in the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the EEA, it is done under the safeguards GDPR requires, typically the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved mechanism.
How long I keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, after which your email is removed from the active list.
- Contact messages: as long as needed to handle your query, plus a reasonable period afterward.
- Purchase records: for as long as the law requires me to keep them under Spanish tax and accounting rules.
- Everything else: only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- access the data I hold about you,
- correct it if it is wrong,
- delete it (the “right to be forgotten”),
- restrict or object to how it is used,
- receive a copy in a portable format,
- and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, email hello@klg.me. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), at www.aepd.es.
Security
I take reasonable measures to protect your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No system is ever perfectly secure, but I treat your data with the care I would want for my own.
Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, I will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes I will give clearer notice. It is worth checking back from time to time.

Terms of Service
Terms of Service
It's important to establish expectations.
Last updated: 12 June 2026
It’s worth setting expectations clearly. These Terms explain the rules for using this site, and by using it you agree to them. Please read them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. Who we are
This site, hermannk.com, and its connected properties (together, the “Site”) are operated by KLG (King Lion Group), a company based in Valencia, Spain (“we,” “us,” “our”). Full company identification is set out in our Legal Notice.
Questions or notices about these Terms: hello@klg.me
2. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we’ll give clearer notice where reasonable. If you keep using the Site after an update, that counts as accepting the revised Terms. If you don’t agree to a change, please stop using the Site.
3. Privacy
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your use of the Site.
4. Eligibility and age
The Site isn’t directed at children. To buy a product or open an account, you must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you’re under that age, please use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
5. Accounts (where offered)
Some features may, in future, require an account. If you create one, you agree to give accurate information, keep it up to date, keep your login details secure, and let us know promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account.
6. Purchases, payments and your right to cancel
Some content and digital products (for example, downloadable workbooks and guides) are offered for sale.
Where you buy. Products are sold through third-party platforms such as Gumroad. When you buy through one of these platforms, that platform handles the payment and the checkout, and its own terms and refund handling also apply to your purchase, alongside these Terms. We don’t see or store your full card details.
Price and payment. Prices are shown at the point of purchase. You agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable taxes.
Taxes. Any applicable VAT or other taxes are handled at checkout by the selling platform where required.
Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers). If you’re a consumer in the EU, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Important exception: for instant digital downloads, you’re typically asked at checkout to agree to immediate access and to acknowledge that you lose this 14-day withdrawal right once the download begins. Where you’ve given that consent and the download has started, the right to withdraw no longer applies. This does not affect your other statutory rights as a consumer.
Refunds. Beyond the withdrawal right above and your statutory consumer rights, refunds are handled according to the policy of the platform you bought through. If something’s genuinely wrong with a product, email hello@klg.me and we’ll sort it out fairly.
Subscriptions and recurring plans. We don’t currently offer subscriptions, memberships, or recurring-billing plans. If we add them, the specific terms — billing cycle, renewal, cancellation, and any free trial — will be presented to you before you sign up and will apply in addition to these Terms.
7. Our content and your licence to use it
Unless stated otherwise, the content on the Site (text, images, graphics, downloads, and the look and feel) belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site and any products you’ve bought, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not resell, redistribute, publicly share, copy, or create derivative works from our content or paid products, except where the law allows it or we’ve agreed in writing. You don’t gain any ownership rights, and we keep all rights not expressly granted here.
You’re welcome to link to the Site, as long as the link isn’t misleading, damaging, or used to imply an endorsement or relationship we haven’t agreed to.
8. Comments and anything you post
If the Site offers comments or other interactive features, you’re responsible for what you post, and you post at your own risk. By posting, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you give us permission to display, store, and moderate it as part of running the Site.
Please don’t post anything that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or that invades someone else’s privacy, and don’t post spam, malware, or anything designed to disrupt the Site or other users. We’re not obliged to monitor what’s posted, but we can remove anything at our discretion. Keep your own copy of anything you’d want to keep.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by trying to damage, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it, scraping or harvesting data with automated tools we haven’t approved, sending spam, introducing malware, getting around access or security measures, or impersonating others.
10. Third-party links, ads and affiliates
The Site may link to or feature third-party content, including affiliate links and the platforms where products are sold. We don’t control those third parties and aren’t responsible for their content, products, or practices, and once you leave the Site, their terms and privacy policies apply, not ours. Our use of affiliate links is explained in our Disclaimer.
11. Intellectual property complaints
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright or other rights, email hello@klg.me with enough detail to identify the content and your rights, and we’ll review it and act where appropriate, which may include removing the content.
12. Disclaimer
The Site is for general information only. Nothing here is legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice, and it shouldn’t be relied on for decisions about investments or anything else where you’d normally consult a professional. Always get advice suited to your own situation.
We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee it’s complete, current, error-free, or uninterrupted, and it’s provided “as is” to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that can’t be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data, or opportunity, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site. Where we are liable, our total liability connected to a purchase won’t exceed the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where that would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be excluded under applicable law. Your mandatory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
14. Your responsibility for misuse
If your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms causes us loss or a third-party claim, you agree to cover the reasonable costs we incur as a result, to the extent the law allows.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to the Site or any feature if you breach these Terms or misuse the Site. You can stop using the Site at any time.
16. Governing law and where disputes are heard
These Terms are governed by Spanish law and applicable EU law. Court proceedings would normally take place in the courts of Valencia, Spain. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you keep the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence where the law gives you that right.
Out-of-court resolution. If you have a problem, please contact us first at hello@klg.me so we can try to resolve it directly. (Note: the EU’s central Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in July 2025, so there’s no longer a link to provide. Consumers can still use national alternative dispute resolution bodies and consumer authorities where available.)
17. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms are between you and us, and don’t create rights for any third party. Our not enforcing a term on one occasion doesn’t waive our right to enforce it later.
18. Contact

Open and Transparent
I’d rather tell you up front than have you wonder. Some of the products and links on this site are affiliate links – meaning if you buy through one, I earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
The site keeps growing, and tagging every single link by hand isn’t realistic. So the safe assumption is that any link pointing you toward a product or service may be one I earn from. That said, the web is full of things I could push. I only point you toward what I’ve actually used, vetted, or genuinely believe will help you think clearer, work better, or build something. If I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend, it doesn’t go here.
hermannk.com runs on trust, and trust runs on people knowing how the lights stay on. So here’s how this site and the ones connected to it earn:
- Direct products and digital tools
- Affiliate commissions
- Partnerships and collaborations
- Speaking and consulting
Questions about any of it? The contact page is in the menu up top. Ask me anything.
Mindset First. Keep thriving.
