ESL Pro Series Season 7

After being invited, my afternoon on Saturday the 10th was spent at the ESL Pro Series Finals (Season 7) . It was quite an event and being an avid gamer myself I am excited to see the growth of the community and the good publicity the genre of E-sports is beginning to recieve. The Alpen Series was cut short this year/season with finals only being held in Counterstrike 1.6, CSS and Fifa 2008. A total of €18,000 prize money was distributed amongst the winners and several new games were introduced amongst them the highly anticipated Starcraft II in an alpha demo version, which I had the chance to play and must say – crazy graphicsWe also decided to shoot a short promo and as you’ll be able to tell we didn’t get in much material as I got caught up chatting with people at the event such as GIGA moderator Maxi Gstettenbauer (see photo). When I first saw the raw material to this clip I was quite shocked to see how tired I really look, but I cant complain. I love being busy and doing what I do!
