I am involved in athletics and sports in numerous ways. I have always been extremely active on all levels (both competitively and as a hobby) playing soccer, basketball, running and a multitudinous amount of other sports. As an athlete on the filed one always has the perspective of “advantage.” With this I mean that whatever one does or whatever may occur on the field, it always needs to be to the benefit of oneself or the team. If a call is made it needs to be an advantage for my team or for myself. Now I won’t go into any details, but I think you get the point.
I have also had the chance to move into the second perspective: a coach. Aside from personal coaching (fitness), I have had the opportunity to coach both basketball and soccer and here one still seeks advantage, yet in this position one also has a better overview.
Thirdly, I also enjoy the last perspective – that of a referee. I have managed to fit in a few basketball games into my schedule for this season. Here is a small video of me on the court – enjoy.
