1. Monopoly
I have never been a big fan of monopoly but have played it casually growing up. Now Hasbro has unleashed The Walking Dead Edition. You can purchase it over at ThinkGeek.
Heres a synopsis:
Despite its post-apocalyptic setting, ‘The Walking Dead Monopoly’ delivers classic Monopoly wheeling and dealing game play. Players vie for, and then must fortify, the prime real estate and resources that will sustain their lives. There’s only one victor that will outlast the others. This completely customized game features six collectible tokens, optional speed play, and a fight to the finish! The Walking Dead Monopoly – everything you know and loved about Monopoly, but with 100% more zombie flavor. Eww
Now despite that being pretty cool here is something that gets me even more excited. Another board game release. I grew up playing RISK. Its a great strategy game. We have both the LOTR edition and the classical edition and now its time to add this edition.
2. TWD – RISK
The Walking Dead Survival Edition RISK is a pretty clever adaptation of the tradition Risk game; in addition to changing the board map to the American south, the game adds some pretty serious additional difficulty in the form of a zombie horde that spawns at the start of each turn.
This one is already in the pipe and I look forward to having it delivered to my doorstep. Ill let you know the game play once I get my hands on it.
