Before I introduce the actual topic let me give everyone a quick breakdown of why nexcamp looks so empty. Today we upgraded our servers, but unfortunatly lost a bit of data (primarly nexcamp). Personally it did not bother me all to much as I had nearly everything back up on a second server. Thats why its always good to create backups of important files. The reason we upgraded was due to the new service that The K Group is launching which brings me to my initial post (see below).
I have been quite busy with a lot of things at the moment and one of these was the completion of a new web based project – better said the first official product being released by my web based startup The K Group, namely a brand new meta search engine. Hence, I would like to introduce to you – Hallaro!
The core team and I have been working on this project for quite some time now and we hope that some of you may find it useful over other larger search engines 
The official release date of the website is tomorrow, September 24th @ noon (Therefore if you are reading this tonight, the link above will probably not be active yet).
Here are a few features that we have built in:
- Thumbnail screenshots of websites
- Tabs to search in categories (e.g. web, news, sports, wikipedia, amazon, etc.)
- Multiple language features
- Fast algorithm
- Quickview feature – innovative feature allowing you to preview a website within the search engine instead of opening a new window
- Email links directly to friends through our ajax feature
- and much more…
This official rollout is a beta release (1.0) as we will be testing multiple areas of the engine. Aside from further development to the next beta release, we hope that through user feedback we will be able to insert and establish innovative ideas that are adpated to hallaro users.
