Well the past week +/- a few days or so have been quite turbulent. I have a few topics I want to review and post, but currently am to tired to do so, so I figured I’d post a quick update about a few things here and there concerning me (without all to much detail and whatever pops into mind).

  • We completely restructured a few things with The K Group. I wanted a new site design so I set out to put one up myself. Something simpler and easier to overlook. It still is not complete, yet I am working on it.
  • We sold hallaro (meta search engine) and visibles (advertiser program) and implmented a new search engine under the hallaro.com domain titled “hallaro mp3.” It allows you to search millions of songs and (if registered) create playlists. We are adding some last touches to the beta version, especially getting the flash player to load. I must admit – its frustrating! The site is also being redesigned by a team member (Im glad I dont have to do it!), although the layout will look the same, making it more user friendly.
  • I’m currently dogsitting at a friends house until the end of the month.
  • Stayed up nearly all night and watched the U.S. elections.
  • The K Group is raising new capital to fund a new project in development (primarily me in meetings).
  • I’m nearly done implmenting my picture gallery to the blog. Still needs some work to integrate with FB and what not (API)
  • I have been offered three lucrative part-time jobs and am still weighing whether or not I can/should/want/will accept an offer.
  • The weather is simply amazing.
  • I was featured live on an internet stream with a CEO of an online venture concerning the elections and my point of view as a foreigner.
  • We lost our first soccer game this season 3:2 against a middle class team (5th in our league. Thank goodness we are still first!)
  • My hamstring strain is very annoying and am wearing 2 compression bands to numb the pain. (Yes, I know. I know.

Well, lots going on, but I enjoy it. Still need to do more. I’ve been slacking off in keeping in touch with friends and family for a bit. Anyhow, Carpe Diem and one more quote (I believe its the favorite quote of a friend of mine.)

“Life isn’t measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away.”

With that – thanks for reading.
